The idea behind Context Free Art is to have the computer generate beautiful artwork described by context free grammars. Since context free grammars are usually recursive, this naturally leads to recursive and fractal-like images.
The original project, Context Free Art, implemented the generator as Windows, MacOS, and Unix programs: you download it, write your grammar, click Render, and it generates the image.
This project brings Context Free Art to the web (via WebAssembly): no download or installation necessary.
