Yes, amid COVID-19 trying to get Amazon Prime Now delivery slots can get cumbersome. To free you of the constant hassle of checking for slots (and almost never finding one), this automated script can notify you of when new delivery slots open.
Features
--- notify via speech 'say' command.
--- notify to IFTTT Maker 'webhook' channel which can trigger any sort of automation you like.
--- notify via pushbullet.com notifications (pushbullet can go to SMS, desktop, etc...)
Tested on Mac OS.
_The script works after you have added all the items to your cart! Note, have your cart ready before running this script!
To set up / run the script:
optional: install pushbullet for pushbullet support: pip install pushbullet.py
-
Run the requirements.txt (
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
) -
Make sure you have a cart ready to go on your Prime Now website.
-
Run primenow.py, example with speech support: (
$ python primenow.py --enable-say --username=<your-amazon-email>
) or with Pushbullet support: ($ python primenow.py --enable-say --enable-pushbullet -k=<pushbullet api key> --username=<your-amazon-email>
) or with IFTTT/webhook support: ($ python primenow.py -w=https://maker.ifttt.com/trigger/primenow/with/key/<apikey> --username=<your-amazon-email>
) -
When you run this script, Chrome will pop up and Amazon will ask you to login.
-
Log in, and enter OTP if prompted.
-
Script should navigate you to the 'checkout' page automatically and refresh every 30 seconds, looking for slots.
When a slot opens, the script will start yelling at you via the 'say' command.
