Addresses the points made in issue 261 relating to black box models from DESNZ and The Turing Institute. These covered a number of chapters where comments were separately made about black box models and AI.

Please check:

  • these additions align with the rest of the document as they were considered specifically for AI or black box models in general.
  • the wording is clear to someone who is not familiar with black box or AI models.

@Hurstharrier I've also reviewed and it looks good to me. Only query is if everyone will understand the term data drift?

Line 100 - suggest "especially if it has..." rather than "they have"?

## Black box models {.unnumbered}

Black box models internal workings are not visible, easily understood, or succinctly explained. These models take input and produce output without providing clarity about the process used to arrive at the output. [Artificial Intelligence](#Artificial Intelligence) models (including [Machine Learning](#Machine Learning)) are the most common type of black box models used today. Other forms of black box models may arise in future.

Suggest a separate sentence for the proprietary models point (which is well made!). A suggestion: "Proprietary models with protected intellectual property which means methods and processes are not fully transparent are also black boxes."

No other comments - I think this looks good apart from my nit picking points :-)
