In Jamaica we use parishes instead of States. Jamaica originally had 14 parishes. Kingston and Saint Andrew were merged in 1923. Many sources still cite these as different parishes. Locally they are used interchangeably as the same place. Only the major towns are used here since minor town usually lack the infrastructure to facilitate delivery services.
