I think I need to fix my DCO to be consistent with my Github profile email, not my corporate one. |

In this case study, I'll demonstrate how I used the PEMM as tool to unify multiple teams following an internal restructuring at Red Hat. I'll demonstrate additional potential for the Platform Engineering Maturity Model (PEMM) to add value, connect teams, and align leadership with common terminology and goals. | ||

Very nicely captured! I think this meets all of our contributor guide requirements and is a helpful blog to post.
If more detail were to be added anywhere, I would point to the discussions section. When people presented back their rankings and discussions ensued, did this ever change their self evaluated rankings? Was it clear where they believe would have been a better ranking? Did they in general feel like rankings in level 1 or 2 were a problem (or just a fact)?
These are all just questions and some may not make sense for your context, but the idea of how people actually felt about their locations on the model and how accurately they were able to self-evaluate are two interesting topics that could be added!
I've ended up quite busy, and my publishing timeline has slipped by a few days! I'm shooting for a final revision tomorrow or Friday |
This MR is a follow-up to my presentation at wg-platforms on 2024-08-27, where I introduced the PEMM Leveling Workshop I led at Red Hat.
This blog post summarizes the concept, key objectives, strategies, outcomes, and what's coming (PEMM User Personas Workshop).
Please let me know your feedback. I'm happy to take any and all suggestions for improvement.
Side question: will the meeting recording make it to youtube? (wg-platforms 2024-08-27)
