Description

I want to analyze who uses (my) cubes. I what is better for analysis then OLAP cube?

Its based on ** OlapQueryLog ** loging table. I make standard STAR scheme and then build OLAP cube in Microsoft analysis services (SSAS). Reports are made in MS Excel.

Logging needs to be set. technet.

Cubes can be on multiple source servers, i will count with this.

Úvod

Chci analyzovat kdo používá (moje) kostky. A co je lepší pro analýzu než OLAP kostka?

Základem je logovací tabulka OlapQueryLog. Z ní udělám standardní star schéma a nad ní postavím OLAP kostku v Microsoft analysis services (SSAS). Reporty jsou vytvořeny v MS Excel

Logování je třeba mít nastaveno. technet.

Kostky mohou být na více zdrojových serverech, musím s tím počítat.

Je třeba postupovat po adresářích.
