TheTeam
Back when the XBX project was rather a vague idea the team consisted of only two members:
A graduate of Berufsakademie Stuttgart (Dipl-Ing.(BA),2002) and Brunel University West London (M.Sc.,2007) Christian specializes in embedded systems and enjoys doing stuff with microcontrollers. Because of his background in computer engineering he does most of the hardware design and prototype soldering for XBX as well as low level C and assembly routines. He learned 6502 assembly on his dad's C64 in the late 1980s and has been fond of 8bit machines ever since. Working at ITK Engineering, his daytime work tasks alternate between microcontroller applications and technical computing problems.
Jens Gräf holds a Dipl-Ing. degree in engineering cybernetics from Stuttgart University and is co-founder and managing partner of LiNetCo, a company specializing in telemetry applications for remote facilities and technical computing software for highly specialized applications. He is a Linux expert (LPI Level 2 certified) and wrote almost the entire PC side of the XBX package.
Later when there was actually something to show we managed to obtain more support:
A recent addition to the XBX team, Valentin is an electrical engineer by education altough his primary fields of expertise are C++ and Linux. He works at some company that does some security stuff and doesn't tell any other team member about what's going on there.
Marcus is helping with documentation and data presentation.
