👋 Hey there I’m Edgar Delgado

💻 Software Developer + Math enthusiast 📣 STEAM communicator 🎼 Lecturer in the Master's Degree Programs in Musicology and Music Pedagogy

LinkedIn Portrait

  • 🌾 I’m currently developing TypeScript Tonnetz, a math library of transformations and operations from Mathematical Music Theory. It emerged as a development branch to contribute to Miika Alonen's phenomenal ZifferJS project. It is currently implemented in Topos.

Skills

  • TypeScript, Node, Express, SQL, Git (primarily server-side)
  • Some knowledge of Ruby and Python

I am also developing a math Ruby library to generate 241 infinite sequences of multidimensional figurate numbers based on the book "Figurate Numbers" by Michel Deza and Elena Deza. In parallel, I am building a Python version called FigurateNum. Both versions can be used in a pure math project or in algorithmic composition and live coding.

👁️ Assist in the integration of new artistic and math concepts in your musical and computer projects.
