The reason for making this fork is to contribute back efforts of getting OntoWiki to work by way of installing the packages from the LOD2 repository in Debian Squeeze. Also, this forks serves as a place for me to document my experiences with OntoWiki. Hopefully this documentation can be merged with the main OntoWiki documentation.

The packages for OntoWiki were specifically made to match Ubuntu package naming conventions. The differences in nomenclature to the Debian package names are catered for by way of an 'equivs' package. This leaves some manual configuration to be done. A solution to this might be found in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=726317, though this requires some more investigation.

Contributions towards making OntoWiki install smoothly on a fresh Debian system are welcome.
