Facebook Archive

Ever felt the need for a better way to browse & archive posts/images/videos you've previously seen on Facebook. Ever wished there was a tool to archive posts without sharing/liking.
Then this is what you are looking for. A simple chrome extension to archive posts on Facebook.
The extension appends an 'Archive' option to all the posts in your news feed and adds the post to your archive-list whenever you click on the option.

Once a post is archived the archive option is replaced with a 'Added to archive' option.

The list syncs along with your chrome account and is accessible on all your computers.

Installation steps:

Using the crx file:

1. Download the Facebook-Archive-1.0.crx file.
2. Go to chrome->Settings->Click on Extensions((on top left in settings page)). Keep this extensions tab open.
3. Drag and drop the downloaded .crx file into the extensions tab page
4. The extension gets added and you can see a facebook icon added to the top-right corner in your address bar.

Using the src files tar.gz/ .zip :

1. Download the zip & extract it.

2. Go to chrome->settings->click on Extenions(on top left in settings page)

3. Select the checkbox Developer mode

4. Click on the 'load unpack extension' button and choose the choose the folder extracted

Thats it done. Once you login in Facebook, you can the archive option appended to the section containing the like & comment options of every post(except for some private posts). Care is taken to include almost all kinds of posts.

Click on the archive option and the post gets added into your list. Access your list by clicking on the Facebook icon (on top-right after the search bar).

P.S: The extension doesn't work on a page, loaded prior to adding the extension. In such a case the page needs to be reloaded/refreshed for the extension to work.
