What value does it bring to the user?

This will be an early version of the software, that contains most of the major features, but is not yet complete, released for testing and feedback.

Releasing the beta version will enable users to run their own instances of Underpass for performing customized data quality evaluations of OSM data of any region in the world. For example, users will be able to analyze the quality of sidewalks in Brazil, or the public transport system in Mexico. But also other non-OSM mapping data could be analyzed, like Overture or AI generated data.

From the product development view, releasing this version will be also useful for running workshops, getting feedback while spreading the word about the solutions that we provide.
