For someone who cares:

I am trying to merge two maps, but when I enter the initial positions for both maps, it generated a wrong merged map. Attached is the rviz screenshot and the launch file.

The the relative position shown in rviz is the desired one

I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

change known_init_poses to true and try
