Users can copy an existing charter into their own userspace to modify the existing data.

Requirements

User must be logged in and the charter must not be in use by another user.

How to proceed:

  • Navigate to Charter.
  • In charter view click on “Save and edit charter”. The user functionalities will then change from "save and edit charter" to "Edit charter".

Work on saved Charters:

You can access your save saved charters under “MyArchive” clicking on “..saved”. All Saved Charters will be listed.

For each charter you find two short descriptions (current public version, private version from the user space). You have seven options:

  • View Current Public Version
  • View Private Version
  • View version differences between Public Version and Private Version
  • Add a Bookmark to Private Version
  • Edit Private Version (with VdUEdit ('edit charter') or with EditMOM3 (beta))
  • Release Private Version
  • Remove Private Version

Version Difference:

Compares the Versions of Charter. The symbols used have the following meanings:

  • Green colour: In Private Version added
  • Red colour with strikethrough: In Privat Version deleted
  • Inside [ ]: Attribute

Release this Version:

Sends the private version of charter in the user space to the moderator the user has selected during registration. The moderators review the modifications of the charter. They can release it to public or send back it to the user for amendments.

Remove Charter:

deletes the private version of the charter in the user space. The current Public version remains as it is.
