We actively maintain two different versions of cass-operator, the [1.10.x series](https://github.com/k8ssandra/cass-operator/tree/1.10.x) as well as the newest version cut from the master branch. The [1.10.x branch](https://github.com/k8ssandra/cass-operator/tree/1.10.x) receives only bugfixes, while all the new features will only land to the newer versions. |

Suggestion: we may not want to include version numbers like this in the docs, because our support policy might change while we miss the doc update. How about removing that whole section?

Well, at the moment 1.10.x is a maintained version for older Kubernetes versions where newer ones don't work (<1.21).

Yeah, the release script changes it always to the next major automatically, not minor.
