Thanks for the help @NaderAlAwar. This is just a draft PR showing how it can be done.
Likely you'll want a flag in the decorator so the user can control this behavior.
Users will want it released for long Serial/OpenMP kernels, but it may not be beneficial on short-running CPU kernels or asynchronous GPU kernels.
