Moox User Device allows us to add more security to user logins. The package provides a Filament Resource for the admin panel, showing user devices and two services UserDeviceTracker and LocationService, that are used in our custom Filament Logins.
Moox User Device has currently no option to inform users or admins about new devices or other features to establish a device-policy, but this is planned in the next iteration.
The package is not yet well documented and tested but running on production to monitor devices for a couple of weeks.
These two commmands are all you need to install the package:
composer require moox/user-device
php artisan mooxuser-device:install
Curious what the install command does? See manual installation below.
Here are some things missing, like an overview with screenshots about this package, or simply a link to the package's docs.
Instead of using the install-command php artisan mooxuser-device:install
you are able to install this package manually step by step:
// Publish and run the migrations:
php artisan vendor:publish --tag="user-device-migrations"
php artisan migrate
// Publish the config file with:
php artisan vendor:publish --tag="user-device-config"
