A nice project with a nice description
For development, you will only need Node.js and a node global package, Yarn, installed in your environnement.

Just go on official Node.js website and download the installer. Also, be sure to have
git

You can install nodejs and npm easily with apt install, just run the following commands.
$ curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_14.x -o setup_14.sh $ sudo sh ./setup_14.sh $ sudo apt update $ sudo apt install nodejs $ sudo apt install npm
Install mongodb $ sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y $ sudo apt install mongodb $
-
You can find more information about the installation on the official Node.js website and the official NPM website.
