This is a great idea - is there a particular time of year where mentees are looking for mentorships, like early in 2025 or right before summer? I'm wondering if there's a specific time of year we should push out this messaging to TIs, or if it's year round.

Great question! For starters, we had imagined having mentorships ready for the summer, so I'd say we should start doing outreach to other TIs in the late Q1/early Q2 timeframe. Looking at how other foundations do this, CNCF seems to have 3 mentorship cycles per year, which is something we can strive for once we have enough momentum during the summer.
