So when I run this package, I get an error saying that my opencv does not have cuda support. |
The problem has been solved, this is cv_bridge and opencv compatibility issues |
Could you tell me how you solve this problem? I face the same one, successful compiled but the package throws an error that the opencv in my ros does not have cuda support. But I DO have opencv in cuda version. Thanks! |
You need to find the cv_bridge source code from https://github.com/ros-perception/vision_opencv and clone it to your ros workspace. Then modify the cv_bridge CMakelist. Let the cv_bridge find your CUDA version opencv. Finally, catkin_make, problem solved |

@PaulKrush On the euroc data, my measured performance is not good. There is a big delay, I have not solved this problem. But I implemented GPU acceleration on Vins-Mono and had a better real-time performance. |
Have you set your board to the max performance? |

Turning on high performance on TX2 can achieve real-time, but I compared the GoodFeaturesToTrack of CPU and GPU and found that the feature points extracted by CPU are generally more than GPU. Does anyone compare this? @pjrambo |
