Is good that the society signaled its intention to stop the burn redirection but consider this a temporary measure. Token holders have already voted on making the the burn destination configurable via governance. I believe @pandres95 already has a work in progress.

Yes! I'm working on a solution that uses pallet_parameters to allow OpenGov to change Burn and BurnDestination parameters. I can wait until this PR is completed, then move my solution to use these same parameters as initial params for that migration.
