What's the practical use of this? I don't think I've ever used a marquee tag in html.

It is mostly used for nostalgic late 1990s or early 2000s websites where it was typically used for banner announcements, "ticker tape", ad banners or just abit of fun scrolling text :)

Humm, I'm not convinced it really warrants a component here.

FastUI is definitely not trying to be a mirror of HTML in python.

Closing as I think this, while cool/retro isn't particularly useful, and sends the wrong signal - fastui isn't trying to implement all html tags.
