Next steps

  • Test the release
  • If this is an 'alpha' release, you can just merge the pull request.
  • Otherwise:
    • For any added commits, run the release workflow in 'rc' mode again
    • After testing, _ensure that this PR is mergeable to _, then run the release workflow in 'release' mode
    • Once the final release workflow finishes it will create a GitHub release for you. Then:
      • Sanity check the build artifacts:
        • pip install: does it install and run?
        • cargo install of cli tool: does it install and run?
        • C++ SDK zip: does it contain rerun_c for all platforms?
      • Populate the release with the changelog and a nice header video/picture, check , then click .
      • Update the google colab notebooks to install this version and re-execute the notebook.

A few hours after the GitHub release is created, will create a
conda feedstock PR.
Make sure Jeremy is on top of it!

  • Write changelog
  • Tests
    • Windows
    • Linux
    • MacOS

Causes our ci to fail because we're on an older Rust version than what
is required by 0.16.2

I'm pretty sure this happened unintentionally, see:
* EmbarkStudios/cargo-deny#720
Missing asset, blog post and fix copy-paste typo (I've already patched
the release changelog accordingly).
This fixes the last two remaining warnings I get when `pixi run
cpp-build-all`.

* One of them is just a switch I forgot in
#8057.
* The other is just GCC being weird... I dunno man.

### What

Closes #8148.

This brings nicer error messages to mono component entities when
multiple components were added.

@emilk This also improves the API of `error_*`, `warning_label`, and
`success_label` in `UiExt`.
