An EC2 based deployment of jupyterhub (based on https://github.com/jupyterhub/jupyterhub-deploy-teaching)
Requirements: ansible, python 2, Optional: virtualbox, vagrant
To spin-up a jupyterhub node in EC2 run:
- git clone [email protected]:rok/awshub.git && cd awshub
- git clone [email protected]:UDST/ansible-conda.git ./ansible-conda
- (Optional) Edit roles/cloudflare/defaults/main.yml to add cloudflare credentials for your domain.
- Run ansible-galaxy install antoiner77.caddy
- Run ansible-playbook ./site.yml
- Jupyterhub should be running on https://yourdomain.com if you've configured it or on a random EC2 IP.
To spin up a jupyterhub node on vagrant:
- git clone [email protected]:rok/awshub.git && cd awshub
- git clone [email protected]:UDST/ansible-conda.git ./ansible-conda
- Run: vagrant up --no-provision && ./vagrant.yml
- browse on host-only network: https://192.168.10.20/
- The jupyterhub is accessible to others on your local network on forwarded port 7443
