Snake game using assembly language Group Computer architecture project - 2021/2022

Jeu du snake codé en langage assembleur Projet d'architecture L2 Informatique en binôme - 2021/2022

How to use:

  1. Open Mars4_5.jar and load snake_assembly.s
  2. Open Bitmap Display from Tools and set Unit Width and Height to 16, Display Width and Height to 256 then Connect to MIPS
  3. Open Keyboard and Display MMIO Simulator from tools and Connect to Mips
  4. Assemble and run the program from the Run menu
  5. Control the snake using ZQSD on the keyboard simulator

The game:

  • Snake length goes up when a candy is eaten
  • Speed goes up by 5ms when a candy is eaten
  • Obstacles are generated for each eaten candy
  • Hitting an obstacle or the bitmap display borders ends the game
  • Touching the snake's body with its head ends the game
