As a community becomes richer and wealthier people move in, the low income families in a neighborhood can be displaced due to a rising cost of living.

Our project

Overview

When we looked, we couldn't find any nationwide gentrification data. This meant that we can't truly understand the effects of gentrification. Our goal was to reimagine the urban experience, by making nationwide gentrification data more accessible with create a centralized database of gentrification metadata.
