Supported siesta versions

An updated list describing the compatibility between aiida-siesta and versions of the Siesta package.

aiida-siesta 1.1.0 / 1.1.1

All the calculations plugins and workchains distributed in this version are compatible with all the main Siesta releases (4.0 series, 4.1 series and the MaX-1.0 release), however, in order to fully experience the new "protocol system", is suggested the use of a Siesta version supporting PSML pseudos. In fact, the package distributes the "standard_psml" protocol, a collection of siesta input parameters that have been tested on elemental crystals. This protocol requires the use of PSML pseudopotential from the PseudoDojo repository.

aiida-siesta 1.0.0 / 1.0.1

This version is compatible with all the Siesta versions, however the stm calculation plugin and the stm workchain only support old versions of the post-process tool "plstm". A new version of "plstm" was introduced from release Siesta MaX-1.0.
