Newtts

Newtts is the next big notes-scanner application. With an incredbily simplistic interface, you can scan and save your handwritten notes as a document on your phone! Newtts also allows for the readback of scanned notes, so you can review your notes anywhere! With Newtts, you can scan your documents and forget about them. Leave all the hard work of sorting your files to us!

Installation

Build From Source

• Clone this repository
• If not done automatically, run

flutter pub get <dependencyName>

for all dependencies in the pubspec.yaml

• Then use:

flutter run Newtts

To start the app

Easy Install

To install, download the .apk file on an android device and run it.

Usage

Taking A Picture

• On the landing page, select the Take a Photo button. If a prompt asks to grant camera permissions, select allow.
• The native camera app will then open and allow you to take a photo.
• Once you have taken a desirable photo, press confirm

Uploading A Picture

• On the landing page, select the Upload a Photo button. If a prompt asks to grant file permissions, select allow.
• The native file browser will open and allow you to select a photo.
• Once you have selected the desired photo, press confirm

Uploading A Text Document

• On the landing page, select the Library button.
• Tap the + icon in the top right.
• If a prompt asks to grant file permissions, select allow.
• The native file browser will open and allow you to select a document.
• Once you have selected the desired photo, press confirm

Using Notes Playback

• On the landing page, select the Library button.
• Tap a previously saved document
• Press the large play button in the center to begin playback
• Press the button again to stop playback
