I'm Max from Germany.

I love to build open source applications solving use cases that are either solved by expensive software or not solved at all.

As I'm doing lighting for live events in my (very limited) free time one of my biggest projects is my own lighting software.
It's called Mizer and is a node based solution combined with classic console workflows.
This is the lighting software running in the Dröönläänd which is a club run by a non-profit club which brings music culture to the youth.
When I've started building Mizer this was the primary use case but since then I've operated larger festival shows with it as well.

I've built this to support me in my day job as I hated jumping between different web apps to see pending reviews, bug reports and the ticket I'm working on currently.

Remote Party Games

Online multiplayer games modeled after classic party games.

This was a project I've started in covid to offer an easy way to play games online without tons of ads or annoying user interfaces.

Incorporate your pc into the home automation software of your choice.

My main use case for this tool was integrating my desktop into the presence detection for my office I've built using home assistant.
