I choose to use HTML_CodeSniffer for another project using it as a module. I had to find a way to validate one arbitrary guidelline and run the code a bit differently but the various parts of the sniffer were exposed only throught the _global variable which was missing sometimes so I added module.exports to the files manually but for the sniffs I added a grunt task.. For the translations however the _global is left unchanged.
