Morioka, Official Release

Overview

Sumokoin "Morioka" v0.5.0.0 is a major update to:

• Mostly rebase Sumokoin to Monero v0.14.0.2 code base (with many feature/stability improvements)
• Enable Bulletproof (v2) that allows much smaller tx size at the same mixins (or ringsize)
• Increase ringsize from 13 to 49 for absolute privacy
• Move away from ASIC-friendly (Cryptonight classic) to ASIC-resistant Cryptonight-R POW

There are 2 consecutive hardforks enclosed in this release:

1. Hardfork v7: at block# 274000 (enable bulletproof + larger ringsize, new POW)
2. Hardfork v8: at block# 274360 (prohibit old RingCT tx format)

The hardforks should happen automatically with no manual intervention needed (as long as your node is updated with the latest release). Pools will need to update pow verification to Cryptonight-R after hardfork v7.
