In conditions use eg. "Explict hosts" and bind the plugin to all ESX-Hosts.
This will set the ESX-Host itself, but also services and other hosts containing the name of the ESX-host into downtime, when it is set into maintenance mode.
If, for example, this is a standlone system the VMs could be defined as childs of the ESX-Host.
The plugin will find those dependencies:
Maintenance-Mode@ESX01 Output = ...Maintenance Mode...
+
+- ESX01
+-- Switch/Interface ESX01
+-- ESX01-IDrac
+-- VM101
You then could configure the plugin on ESX01-IDRac and VM101 in "Fully automated" mode, so depended host+servies of those hosts would be also put into downtime.
