Locking

WebDAV locking is not yet implemented.

Fake locking

You can make v7files pretend that it supports WebDAV locking, by specifying the "fake" locking provider.

 locking.provider = fake

While this does not so any actual locking, it can be useful to fool clients like the Mac OS X Finder into mounting WebDAV in read-write-mode (without it, Finder will only present the volume read-only).

By default, v7files does not advertise locking support.

Locking permissions

You need write permissions on a file in order to lock it (this is true even for the "fake" implementation).
