LinkedIn Job Scraper Chrome Extension

This Chrome extension allows you to scrape job listings from LinkedIn job search pages and export them to a CSV file.

Installation Instructions

1. Clone this repository to your computer or download and extract it as a ZIP file.

2. Open your Google Chrome browser.

3. Type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar and press Enter.

4. Enable the "Developer mode" toggle in the top right corner.

5. Click the "Load unpacked" button that appears.

6. In the file explorer that opens, select the folder containing the extension files and click "Select Folder."

7. Once the extension is successfully loaded, a new icon will appear in the top right corner of Chrome.

Usage

1. Go to a job search page on LinkedIn (e.g., https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/search/).

2. Click the extension icon in the top right corner of Chrome.

3. In the popup window, click the "Start Scraping" button.

4. The extension will start scraping job listings from the page and will automatically download a CSV file when finished.

Notes

• The extension is set to scrape a maximum of 10 job listings at a time.
• Do not close or refresh the page during the scraping process.
• The extension may require updates if LinkedIn's site structure changes.

Troubleshooting

If the extension is not working as expected:

1. Try removing and reinstalling the extension.
2. Ensure that Chrome is updated to the latest version.
3. Check if there have been any changes to LinkedIn's site structure.
