[1.7.10] Configuration
Vampirism has a lot of configuration and balance options.
There are three different .config files:
vampirism.cfg for general stuff (disable some features, change ids)
vampirism_balance.cfg which contains A LOT of options to adjust the balancing of the mod
vampirism_village_biomes.cfg for the biome dependent villages
You can also adjust the blood values, take a look here.
You can change them by either editing the files in your .minecraft/config folder manually
or use the in-game menu to edit the main and the balance settings (Main Menu -> Mods -> Vampirism -> Config).
This file contains the main options. You can change id values, change some gameplay options or adjust the gui position.
You can also disable some parts of the mod, but it is not guaranteed that everything works fine and is balanced then.
There is also a "vampire_realism_mode" which will be extended in the future. For now it e.g. gives creatures a sanguinare effect before they are converted.
####Examples
Sundamage Dimensions
It is possible to specify if you receive sundamge in each individual dimension.
You can set a default for unspecified dimension (sundamage_default).
You can specify sundamage for a dimension by adding ":<1/0>" to sundamge_dims (e.g. "5:1" to enable sundamage in dim 5). Use one line/String for each dimension.
You can find out the dimension you are in game with "/vampirism currentDimension".
This file contains a ton of balance options. If you don't like things, take a look if you can adjust them there.
Also feel free to tell us which changes you like, so we might set them as default.
Attention The values in this file are reset every time you update Vampirism to allow us to bring you adjusted values. To prevent that either create a backup or set the "config_mod_version" in the main config to the new version before updating.
Allows you to change the biomes villages spawn in as well as adjust the used blocks.
