Description

I tried to close Gamemaker, it asked me if I wanted to save before closing -- I said no. I got the beach ball (using Mac), program totally hung for a few minutes. Decided to force quit the app. Reopened the app, reopened my project -- crash.

Which version of GameMaker are you reporting this issue for?

IDE v2024.8.1.171 Runtime v2024.8.1.218

Which operating system(s) are you seeing the problem on?

Mac 14.6.1

The ui.log shows that we've tried to close a thread which FFmpeg has already closed, and this is backed up with the crash dump.

Unable to repro as of IDE v2024.1100.0.646 Runtime v2024.1100.0.666 in mac or Ubuntu - closing
