Source code is now available, and ttyd64's gameplay can now be implemented in other hacks with ttyd64_gameplay

Download ttyd64_gameplay_1.0.0.rar and follow the instructions inside the file to add TTYD64's gameplay into your romhack (Compatible only with Star Rod).

How to compile

1. Create a completely new dump folder and dump assets there (with Star Rod 0.5.X)
2. In your dump folder, go to battle/formation/raw and delete all files
3. Unzip dump.zip in that same folder
4. In Star Rod's Mod Manager go to: Options (Compile) > Options tab > And check Allow Conflicting Patches
5. You're ready to compile!

CHANGES

Chapter 3 - TTYD pipe is now available.
Toad Town - Settings NPC added in the Badge Shop area.
Star Summit - Badge Shop's map geometry restored to the original version.

BUGS

Overworld

Pit - Stone Chomp Floors - Fixed a crash when trying to run from the Chomp.

Battle

Badge Bandit - Fixed a problem related to the stealed item being in the wrong position.
Final Bowser - All partners now get healed at the start of the battle.

Miscellaneous

FFWD - FFWD memory is now turned off by default (unless your start a new playthrough, you can go to the settings NPC to change it).
• Some of the new songs has been improved (Thanks to StevenBlue)

Overworld

Toad Town

• Badge Shop - Badges on sale no longer get added to your invetory twice after purchasing them.
• Badge Shop - Fixed a problem about some badges not appearing in the selling menu.
• HP Plus P - Fixed some problems when upgrading partners while having a HP Plus P equipped.
• Badge Shop Area - Fixed some problems related to the save block geometry getting corrupted.

Battle

• Fixed a problem related to not being able to properly guard consecutive hits attacks.
• Poison Status - Fixed a problem when the battle doesn't end if the last enemy died by poison.
• HP Regen + Danger Strats - Fixed some problems when the player has HP regen active and is using danger strats.

• Prologue Bowser - Can't no longer be beated, and the game should no longer get softlocked if you survived the fire breath attack.
• Embers/Lava Bubbles - Multi-hit attack - You now only need to guard once to block both hits.
• General Guy - Shy Squad's HP now is always 15 HP on all difficulties, to avoid some crashes.
• Final Bowser - The fight should no longer start at 1 HP in some difficulties.
• Stone Chomp (Pit) - No longer plays the mini-boss theme.

• Goombario + Charges - If Goombario is charged, the charge now should go away at the end of the whole attack.
• Bow - Outta Sight - Fixed some problems when doing the stylish move.
• Bow + HP Drain P - Fixed some problems when using this badge with Bow.

• Power Jump/Quake Hammer Badges - Each badge copy now boost attack by 2 instead of 1 (like TTYD).
• Happy Flower - The badge should no longer be ignored if was the only happy badge you had equipped.
• FP Drain - First strikes are no longer ignored.
• Shrink Stomp - The buff arrow now properly show a -2 instead of -1.
• Flower Saver P - Fixed some problems regarding being able to use a move or not.
• HP Drain P & Happy Heart - Fixed a problem about not getting healed if partner killed the last enemy in battle.
• Ice Power - Badge now should work like in vanilla PM64 once again.
• Ice Power - Stack support for this badge now should only work against fire enemies.
• P-Down D-Up P & P-Up D-Down P - Descriptions are no longer the opposite.
• Poison Drive - Fixed some problems related to not being able to use the badge against spiked enemies.

• Courage Shell - Now should last 3 turns for both player team and enemy team.
• Repel Gel - The invisible effect no longer instantly goes away after an enemy use the item.

Miscellaneous

• Music - Some songs were tweaked a bit to make them sound even better. (Thanks to StevenBlue)

  • Tornado Jump - 2nd action command should no longer always deal the same amount of damage.
  • Tornado Jump - BP Price - 4 > 3
  • Tornado Jump - FP Price - 10 > 6
  • Poison Drive - Now always deal 5 damage without a scale according to Mario's hammer (like TTYD).
  • Poison Drive - Poison effect now last for 3 instead of 6 turns, and no longer has stack support (like TTYD).
  • Lucky Day, Pretty Lucky, Close Call (And P versions) - Stack support nerfed to one aditional check per copy, instead of a higher chance to trigger the badge according to how many copies the player have.

Items:

  • T. Dynamice got renamed to Tayce TNT.

Misc:

  • New Game+ - Player stats no longer get transferred to the new playthrough.

Toad Town:

  • Bartender - Fixed a softlock when talking with him.
  • Bartender - Fixed an exploit with Goombario on his minigame.
  • TTYD Pipe - Fixed a softlock when talking with a NPC.
  • Fixed some wrong talking animations in some of the new maps.
  • Fixed a crash when you try to grab one of the new badges when you already have the badge.
  • Badge Shop - Fixed a bug when not being able to buy anything while having the item inventory full.
  • Badge Shop - Return Postage buy and sell price adjusted.

Chapter 1

  • Koopa Bros. - Fixed a softlock when using Kooper on the back position.
  • Koopa Village - Dried Bouquet & the Golden Leaf now both are able to spawn.

Chapter 2

  • New Shopping Area - Tattle fixed.
  • Pokeys are now able to drop Dry Fruits once again.

Chapter 3

  • Bow's Mansion - Inside the Fireplace, Mario should no longer land on top of the map after getting hurt by the spikes.

Chapter 8

  • Peach's castle area - Fixed a softlock when using Bow in one of the new rooms.

Pit

  • The tattle in the Pit's entrance now should appear properly.
  • Fixed some problems about not loading the proper tattle inside the Pit.
  • Floors 95-99 should no longer only spawn movers.
  • Fixed a softlock when opening Giant Chests (if still happens go to the entrance of the pit and leave).

Battle

  • Prologue Bowser - Fixed a crash if the player actually managed to beat Bowser in NG+.
  • Jr Troopa 1 - Now deals 2 damage.
  • Jr Troopa 4 - His HP should no longer always get decreased to 20 in all difficulties.
  • General Guy - If the Shy Squad attacked Watt the attack sfx should no longer keep playing forever.
  • Bandit Guy - Fixed a crash when getting your badge/coin back.
  • Magikoopa - Tattle updated.
  • Level Up - Partner's little flying heart now always show the correct amount of HP healed.
  • Shrink Stomp - Now reduce the enemies attack by 2 instead of 1.
  • FP Buffs Status - Should no longer give you max FP every turn.
  • Defense Boost Items - Enemies with piercing defense attacks now should deal the correct amount.
  • Tayce Dynamite - The item now should properly work against Lava Piranha.
  • Toad Town - Secret Pipe - Fixed getting hurt when trying to jump or slamp into this map's enemy.
  • Return Postage - Now the badge works for both Mario and enemies.
  • Repel Gel - Now last 2 turns instead of 3.
  • Mr. Softener - Defense debuff no longer goes below zero (like TTYD).
  • Courage Shell - Buff now last 3 turns instead of 2 (like TTYD).

Miscellaneous

Strange Sack - Fixed some problems when buying items in a shop.

Spoilers

Randomizer Mode - Now chests should be able to be opened only once.

Randomizer Mode - Chests that don't give an actual item are no longer randomized.

Randomizer Mode - ? Blocks that originally gave coins are no longer randomized.

Randomizer Mode - ? Blocks can no longer be triggered once again if you never grabbed the item.

Randomizer Mode - All berries, Stone Cap & Insecticide Herb are no longer in the item poll.

Chapter 3's TTYD pipe now has a sign.
