By now they are just a memory... They both died in a plane crash on a business trip, to this day it is still unknown what happened. Their bodies were never found.
Main Character did not leave with them because they preferred to entrust him to Tammy for a few days. Tammy's husband also died with them. He and the MC's father worked for a well-known newspaper company.
The Mom worked as a nurse.
Their bodies were never found, but two gravestones were placed in their memory.
