Minijack input cable
To prevent mobile phones and other equipment to be killed by 48 phantom power, we use a DI box. To connect the minijack cable directly to the Midas mixer has proven to be risky, as phantom power easily can be turned on on the jack channels by mistake. We use the jack input cable to send sound from our computers or phones during our lectures and presentations. This solution is used instead of sharing sound on Zoom, which not really work that well due to feedback and such.
