Polycom
While the system is on, press and hold the restore button for at least 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, the system restarts and displays the setup wizard.
The following items are saved:
- Current software version
- Option keys
- Directory entries
- CDR data and logs
This operation completely erases the system's flash memory and reinstalls the software version and default configuration stored in its factory partition.
Procedure:
- While the system is powered off, press and hold the power button.
- While holding the restore button, press the power button once.
- Keep holding the restore button for 5 more seconds, then release it.
During the factory restore process, the system displays the Polycom startup screen on component monitors. Other types of monitors will be blank. Do not power off the system during the factory restore process. The system restarts automatically when the process is complete.
The Polycom receives input from the remote by an IR sensor located on the camera and will not respond if the camera is not connected.
If Polycom microphone is enabled: The microphone have to be turned on(green light) to send audio on Polycom. If muted, it will not send any sound, even though other sound sources are connected.
To disable Polycom microphone:
- Go to Home -> System -> Admin Settings -> Audio -> Audio Settings
- Make sure the toggle of "Enable Polycom Microphone" is off
