Discussion: credentials management on workstation
SD Core: make build-debs
currently failing with a tonne of "Skipping link: no binaries permitted" errors while downloading packages - any ideas, Python wizards?
Yesterday:
- Started w/ reviews, reviewed inline conversation update PR - found bug that I've not been able to reproduce
- Merged metadata sync queue PR, created follow-up to make syncs continuous -- that's ready once sync icon PR lands
Today:
- Review John's file management PR (gets rid of hard links)
- Removal of sync API calls
Blockers or Asks: None
At conference
Yesterday:
- Reviewing release blockers w/ team, finalizing schedule w/ Jen & Conor; reeached out to news org w/ revised schedule
- Added "release blocker" label in GitHub and used for all issues in https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dP5PMNg7I95iBnf7WRA_7p6MqgkpE3lnbIC7w_hwQiE/edit#gid=0
- Reviewed Ro's docs PR
- Support w/ Weblate issue

- Tiny bit more poking at updater notification, submitted PR to clarify JSON key used in "flag"
Today:
- More poking at updater notification
- More docs work
- More Weblate follow-up
Blockers or Asks: None but pls help out to watch for those release blockers :)
At conference
Yesterday:

Blockers or Asks:

Today:

- Testing & adding a PR for
securedrop-admin restore

Time off
Yesterday:
- Infra work
- Work on provisioning logic: dev target, staging target, prod target (collab w/ Jen & Conor)
Today:
- Review https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-client/pull/732
- make build-debs debugging
- Review client sync PR
Blockers or Asks: None
-
Today:*
- Added tests so PR #740 (replybox focus after sync) is ready for review, but will probably need work to make work properly.
- Rebased #688.
- Spent most of the day working on PR #733 which addresses the unresponsive UI issue. The PR is still very much a "spike" but UI is always responsive with 200 sources. Please see my commentary on that PR.
Blockers or Asks:
- Feedback on #733 so I can add tests and refactor into a proper solution tomorrow.
Traveling
Yesterday:
- Support tasks, comms catchup
- DST standup
- First pass at SD-workstation documentation
Today:

- Docs sprint (remotely) with Kev - thanks Kev and Erik for feedback!
- light prep around contract renewal meeting tomorrow
- follow up on a few support tasks from yesterday
Blockers or Asks:
- blockers: traffic, asks: none
