Governing Principles

  1. Provide rapid disposition of issues. Process Participatory Learning, Design and Research issues that land in the Triage Tracker should be processed within 2 business days. If direct participant feedback is required, it should occur within an additional day.
  2. Actively promote inclusion into the discussion. If a participant wishes to join the Community of Practice (CP), reach out within 1 business day to follow up with instructions to join and participate. Regularly invite users to the forum to discuss emerging issues.
  3. Maintain a safe discussion environment. Trolling is a present reality in social media like interactions. Discussions should be monitored and regulated to limit the potential of these harmful interactions.
  4. Protect the information of participants. Review information passing between the Epicenter and GitHub platform and immediately report any personally identifiable information that may have been placed there by participants or others.
  5. Maintain the relevance of the platform. Ensure the wiki and other information repositories are clean and well maintained and contain up-to-date information. Notify users when new information or features are made available. Take every opportunity to refer users to the GitHub MTL repository for information and participation
