Due to its age and management style, there are a number of online resources which provide support for MisterHouse. The purpose of this page is to provide a list of those resources and instructions for how to update them so that new administrators can be added as necessary.

Sourceforge

  • Hosts
  • Mailing Lists
  • User documentation (misterhouse.net)
  • Publicity (Many historical web pages link to the sourceforge page)
  • Authority to Add Administrator
  • Any other administrator
  • Special Instructions
  • Administration should be added to the sourceforge project as a whole, which can be done here.
  • Administrators should also be added as allowed senders to the MisterHouse - Announce mailing list.
    • Reset the password for the Announce Mailing List. Pick whatever you like, any other admin can reset it, but make it reasonably secure.
    • Add the new administrator to the allowed senders list.

GitHub

  • Hosts
  • Git repository
  • Issue Tracker
  • Developer Documentation
  • Authority to Add Administrator
  • Lieven Hollevoet (Hollie)

Nest API Access

  • Hosts
  • Allows the Nest module in MisterHouse to interface with the Nest API
  • Provides access to the authorization and client codes issued to MisterHouse
  • Administrator
  • The only current administrator is KRKeegan, it is not clear that other administrators can be added.
  • If need be, a new request could be submitted for API access and the access and client codes on the Google App Engine page could be replaced.
