Add Nodes
To add new nodes to a cluster, click the “Add Nodes” link from dropdown “Actions” from the top rightmost corner of the screen.

On clicking “Add Nodes”, the following view opens which mostly remains same as add node section in any cluster creation.

Note: Add Node link is disabled if add node is already in progress.
Follow the below given steps for adding a node:

Use the same steps for node retrieval using Search and Select Nodes section as done during Node Retrieval on Cluster creation page.

Allocate the Roles/Services across the nodes.

Click “Add”

If all the field validations are passed, node addition starts. Its progress is shown on same screen as illustrated in Tracking Node Addition section.
Please note the following points for adding a node:

The prerequisites for the nodes to be added is same as for nodes used for cluster creation as mentioned in Prerequisites section of Working With Nodes.

While add node is in progress Add button is disabled. Add node is enabled once node addition process completed.

New nodes cannot be added in cluster while node addition is already in progress.
