Tracking Cluster Deployment Progress
After completing necessary information for cluster creation, user can proceed for cluster deployment by clicking the “Deploy” button. If there is any validation error in inputs then error is highlighted & is shown on top of the page. If there is no validation error then the page is closed and the view is automatically switched to “Cluster Overview“.
In cluster overview page, user can now see a new cluster tile with its state as “Deploying”. If some error occurs during cluster deployment then the state-name of that tile changes to “Deployment Error” along with color coding of tile. Details related to deployment error can also be identified by clicking on that tile. Quickly Redeploy your cluster by using Redeploy functionality. Refer to “Redeploying Cluster with Deployment Error” section for more details.

To monitor the progress of cluster under deployment, user needs to click on the cluster tile with status “Deploying…” which opens up a page using which cluster creation progress can be monitored.

The opened up page shows three items. By default Deployment progress is visible on page.
• Setup Details: This link opens up a detailed view that shows the configuration that was provided for cluster creation. It should be noted that the fields are not editable in this case as the cluster is getting deployed as shown below.

• Node Status: This allows user to have a look at setup progress on all the nodes at the same time.
On further drilling down by clicking on the “>” icon as shown on the rightmost column of Node List, user can view node-wise detailed progress chart that covers current ongoing activities as well as actions already performed on that node.

• Deployment Progress: This section shows high-level overall progress of cluster creation
The progress layout (“Deployment Progress”) remains same across multiple cluster technologies. However, the exact detailed contents of this page or its sub-section/sub-pages may vary depending on the cluster technology.
