Redeploying Cluster with Deployment Error

Impetus edited this page Apr 13, 2015 · 3 revisions

This feature enables user to redeploy a cluster by making necessary changes or applying fixes. This feature ensures that the failed cluster deployment settings and entries can be reused by making the necessary changes only. Click on a cluster which is in Deployment Error state and needs to be redeployed.

As soon as the user clicks on Deploy button, the deployment process is initiated provided all the fields pass the validations and no errors are occurred. The user is automatically directed to Cluster Overview page where a new cluster tile is shown with state as “Deploying”. Suppose, an error is occurred while deploying a cluster. Then, the cluster tile turns Red with state as “Deployment Error”.

As already explained, Ankush strives to make your user experience better. Ankush provides a functionality of redeploying the cluster by resolving only the errors simultaneously reusing the data already entered throughout the cluster creation process. Hence, just navigate in to the Setup Details page through Setup Details link. The errors are highlighted in Red. All the required fields are editable on this page with a redeploy option at your disposal.
