Alert configuration allows the user to configure alert & warning threshold levels for a cluster utilization in terms of CPU and Memory. This feature enables the user to configure thresholds level of alert & warning for CPU & Memory utilization applicable over all the nodes of the cluster on which it is configured.
Depending upon the values configured, a tile shown on dashboard or at top of the details page change their behavior for representing the state as Running, Critical or Warning. It also captures the user to whom mail is sent pertaining to occurrence of these events.
Critical: Any node of cluster is working with utilization above or equal to Alert level Warning: When any node of the cluster is performing above or equal to the Warning level but below the Alert level Running: When all the nodes of the cluster are working below the Warning level
Note: There is a possibility that even if the utilization of none of the nodes is in alert range, still the cluster is in critical state. The reason for this is issue with services.
