The RF Protocols board packs together receivers for several radio transmission protocols used by DJI over several generations of drones.
The radio channels contain:

Lightbridge (WiMAX-based protocol used in Phantom 3 Pro/Adv and Phantom 4 Std; see m1900)
-
Wi-Fi (Used in some drones with limited range, like Mavic Air and Spark, but also as an option in Mavic Pro; see m0700)
-
Ocusync (LTE-based protocol used in most drones from Mavic series; see m0901)
Each of these radio channels is doubled, for 2.4GHz and for 5.8GHz transmission frequency band. Then all the RF channels are doubled again, so that there are two of each kind. This divides the board into 12 distinct sectors, each containing one of the RF channels.
