Capacity Management in the Factory Manager

Johannes Heucher edited this page Oct 12, 2022 · 3 revisions

Capacities are managed inside the Capacities section of the Xyna Factory Manager. Besides creation and deletion of a Capacity, one can specify its cardinality and monitor its usage.

Table of Contents

List Capacities

The overview shows all Capacities. It supports filtering by name, cardinality, usage and state. Possible states are ACTIVE and DISABLED.

Create a Capacity

Click the Add Capacity button at the top right. Alternatively, an existing Capacity can be duplicated by clicking the Duplicate button at the end of a Capacity table entry. In this case, the fields in the arising dialog are pre-filled and can be changed if necessary.

Define the properties for the new Capacity:

Name
Unique name for the Capacity.
Cardinality
Global cardinality that restricts the number of concurrent Orders that use this Capacity.
Is Active
Per Default a Capacity is active. If it is disabled, no Order that requires the Capacity can run.
Click the Add button to finally create the Capacity.

Modify a Capacity

Open the Capacity Details by selecting a Capacity. The cardinality and the state can be changed. Click the Save button to apply the changes.

Remove a Capacity

Remove a Capacity by clicking the Delete button at the end of the Capacity table entry. Confirm the deletion with Yes.
