Order Type Management in the Factory Manager

Order Types are managed inside the Order Types section of the Xyna Factory Manager.

List Order Types

The overview shows all Order Types. It supports filtering by name, Application, Version, Workspace, execution destination, used Capacities, Priority and Monitoring Level.

Create an Order Type

Click the Add Order Type button at the top right. Alternatively, an existing Order Type can be duplicated by clicking the Duplicate button at the end of an Order Type table entry. In this case, the fields in the arising dialog are pre-filled and can be changed if necessary.

Define the properties for the new Order Type:

Name
Name for the Order Type. It must be unique for each Workspace or Application.
Workspace / Application
Select an existing Workspace or Application.
Planning Destination
Which Workflow is to be executed in the Planning stage. The Default Planning Service is preset as Planning Destination.
Execution Destination
Which Workflow is to be executed in the Execution stage.
Monitoring Level
Level of information stored for each Order of this Order Type.
Precedence
Precedence of Priority.
Priority
Integer between 1 and 10. 10 is the highest priority.
Child Order Inheritance Rules
Configures the way sub orders inherit the Monitoring Level from parent orders.
Capacities
Capacities that are allocated by the Scheduler.

Click the Add button to finally create the Order Type.

Modify an Order Type

Open the Order Type Details by selecting an Order Type. Apart from the name and Applicaion or Workspace, all properties of an Order Type can be changed. Click the Save button to apply the changes.

Remove an Order Type

Remove an Order Type by clicking the Delete button at the end of the Order Type table entry. Confirm the deletion with Yes.
